We have been talking a lot about earning money from your app and the importance of getting your Android app used more frequently, but the question that keeps coming up is; how do I remind my audience to use my Android app?

Today we are going to take a look at three free and easy ways to notify your existing app audience to use your app.
1: Notifications/Alerts – AppsGeyser gives app makers three free alerts that you can use to send to your app audience. An app alert is a gentle message that is sent to the mobile device of the app user and highlights a message that you have sent. The alert will appear as a little tag on the app and will usually also show at the top of the mobile device. The user does not have to open the alert, but will automatically see the alert and therefore be reminded that the app exists. An alert can be used to notify about a new deal, an app update or even a competition. To learn more about notifications click here.
2: Social interaction – One of the most common ways to get people on to your app is via social media, if you encourage your users to engage in your social pages when they download the app then they will get updates from your social page and a reminder to use the app. A great trick is to put something in your Android app that the users need to send to you on your social networking page in order to enter a competition or get a deal. Social networking really is the cream of all marketing techniques.
3: App Update – Your audience will automatically be notified of an ap update every time you upgrade your APK on GooglePlay or within any other app store that they have downloaded the app from. This does not affect the number of free alerts you have. Many people do not update their APK because their apps are automatically updated from their URL links, however, we strongly advise that you update your app APK regularly, this helps convince your app audience that you are taking your app seriously and maintaining it.
